Children's Cancer Fund champions kids in their fight against cancer through strategic investments in research and care in North Texas. We are a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas that generates funds through several fundraising events throughout the year and private donations.

Summary of Board Duties:

The Board represents the heart of the organization’s strength and leadership. They determine policies, operations, and long-range objectives. They serve as advocates for and support CCF by:

Attending no less than 50% of Board meetings

Serving on at least one committee

Attending and financially supporting CCF’s fundraising events

Introducing the Executive Director to others in the community who may be interested in supporting CCF

Assist in the development of the organization through the growth of donors, financial support and donated services, with a minimum of $5,000 raised or donated to the organization

Serve as an advocate for CCF by promoting its mission in the community

Grants provided by CCF are used for Cancer Research and Child Life Services, and approved by the Board of Directors
